SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM DIANA

Hi! Thanks for visiting my business page.

My name is Diana, and I am a licensed skin care professional based in New Jersey. I am 48 years young and have been practicing skin care for 24 years. However, my journey really began much earlier, at age 12, when I started experimenting on my friends. With any birthday money I received, I would get facials, asking countless questions throughout the process—I was constantly thinking about how I would do the service if I were in their shoes.

To make these dreams a reality, I enrolled in esthetician school during my senior year in college. As I was finishing my four-year business degree, I attended one of the best European skin care schools in New York City. This was a difficult time, as just weeks after starting school, my mom was diagnosed with leukemia and took up permanent residence at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. We soon discovered that her type of cancer was occupationally induced by her own career as a beautician. This revelation would forever impact how I would practice and the standards to which I would hold myself.

The industry standards throughout my mom’s long career as a beautician were much different, especially in the 60s and 70s. All day at work, she was surrounded by formaldehydes, aerosols, cigarette smoke (ashtrays were built into salon chairs), and other toxic chemicals. Gloves weren’t used, so many dyes seeped into the skin when applying color. Additionally, there was often poor ventilation; all of this created the perfect storm for sickness unknown to workers like my mom.

With this knowledge, I vowed to practice as safely and holistically as possible. I never put things on clients’ skin that I wouldn’t put on my own, and I am constantly educating myself on emerging research in the industry by taking classes and keeping up with my certifications. I take my professional growth and your health very seriously and will always share what I learn with you.

Additionally, my own personal health struggles influence my holistic approach. For many years, I suffered from mercury toxicity—I had 13 silver fillings in my mouth, which caused GI distress, hormone dysregulation, missed menses, brain fog, irregular heart rate, candida overgrowth, POTS syndrome, severe weight loss, anxiety, immense fatigue, and many more symptoms. No one could figure out what was wrong, resulting in years of needless suffering. Finally, one doctor suggested it could have to do with my teeth. I ran with this idea, and soon, it all made sense—root canals were toxic, and the silver fillings, consisting of heavy metals, were poisonous. In fact, they were 70% mercury; the most toxic element on the planet. I was a ticking time bomb. Over the years, I followed and still follow Andy Cutler’s protocol of low dose oral chelation to remove the toxic metals from my body. Patiently and proudly, I have picked myself up, able to work 60+ hours a week. Once again, I vowed to use my platform to help others get healthier by educating them to the best of my ability. My healing journey was a marathon, not a sprint, and I’m here to help anyone who needs the help for free.

I am NOT a doctor and will never give medical advice. I will only share my own experiences, and I encourage you to exhaust the all-natural remedies before running to pharmaceuticals. Skin care goes beyond what you see on the outside. It includes detoxifying what doesn’t belong inside the body and replenishing what is missing. Committing to a healthy lifestyle has the biggest impact on how we look, feel, and age. At my sickest, my skin was awful, and I knew there was a deeper issue. There are many components to having healthy and vibrant skin, and it all starts with a healthy gut. Metals, in particular, make a healthy gut and good skin unattainable.

So, I urge you to research on your end and try to figure out the root of your issues. Maybe it’s an allergy, a parasite, an infection, a hormonal issue, a compulsion to pick your skin, a bad diet, insufficient bowel movements, too much sugar, or something else. Maybe just maybe it’s metals at the root causing all these random symptoms. You don’t need a mouthful to be very sick. One amalgam is one too many. And, you can be sick with no amalgams at all, just because the metal load passes in utero from mother to child. The mercury settles in your organs and wreaks havoc on the body. Be patient and persistent, ask for help from a functional medicine type doctor who thinks out of the box, and don’t be so quick to get on retinol and other prescription topicals, antibiotics, or birth control for your skin. At times, medication is totally necessary; I get it. Just try the natural alternate first because it comes with fewer side effects.

I am a licensed esthetician, a wife, a mother to two beautiful teenagers, and a survivor. At 38 years old, I never thought I would see my 40th birthday. My journey is long and has a happy ending, and I want the same for you. I love what I do, care about each and every one of you, and hope to make a difference in your life—this is the bigger purpose of my own. I’m blessed to be able to help, and I will always do my job of deep cleansing, healing, nurturing, and prescribing great skin care. Throughout my career, I’ve been honored to help transform others’ skin, especially young people suffering from acne. However, it goes beyond just solving skin care problems; I get to help people of all ages build self-esteem. That’s where it starts, beautiful skin is the result.
